Customer Reviews

We’re really pleased with both the quality and colouring of the wood that we chose at Oakley and the way that it’s been fitted. Darren was very helpful at the showroom, talking us through the options and Phil’s team did a great job preparing and laying the floor. Every interaction with the team was polite, friendly and showed that they were keen to ensure we were happy with all of the work. Would highly recommend.

Ordering samples of wood flooring from online suppliers does not do it justice, it’s so hard to get your head around what it’s going to look like in your room. We found Oakley Wood Timber have a showroom in Oakley and that changed everything. Darren is really knowledgeable and combined with larger samples to explore we found exactly what we wanted. They have a recommended builder (Phillip J Gollins General Builder Ltd), who did an excellent job fitting the new engineered wood floor across three rooms and a hallway, with the mindset of “you don’t pay until you’re happy”. Very happy. (The wood in the photo is the Boston French Oak UV Oiled Rustic)

Five months later I am so pleased with my wooden floor that I decided to extend it into another room. It's still a beautiful floor and I'm still delighted with the service Darren gives. Unfortunately, there's nowhere else in the house that I can have more of it!

We recently bought new engineered wood flooring from Oakley Wood Timber and I highly recommend them. Darren was very helpful, giving us advice and guidance to make sure we went with the most suitable flooring. They have a great showroom filled with dozens of samples of flooring on display which we found incredibly useful to ensure we chose the right one.

Best display and choice of any of the outlets we have visited in Oxfordshire area. Excellent advice & support including being able to return a couple of excess packs.

Lots of choice but with the help of Darren’s excellent knowledge I picked a great product. I’m absolutely delighted with the floor and couldn’t recommend Oakley Wood Timber more highly.

Floor looks beautiful Bought 79sm of lovely panaget oak laminate. I had 6 packs left worth £400 and OWT refunded the full amount. It looks beautiful and I’m very happy.

Fantastic Service from start to finish Highly recommended. Everyone at Oakley Wood Timber has been so helpful. As my build kept getting delayed, Darren and Peter accommodated changes without drama and genuinely were only interested in delivering the best product and service. Peter and the team were friendly, helpful and went the extra mile by completing the job over the weekend! Thank you.

Utility refit Looked at their website all week as they had a sale on. Decided on the product and when I went to purchase it was full price. Still went ahead with the purchase as it’s good quality and even at full price, was cheaper than other brands. Chose collection due to time frame. Straight forward and even though they didn’t have my door bar they replaced with a higher quality one and a little can of stain to get the required colour. This matched beautifully. Their showroom is amazing and I will be returning when I’ve saved up enough to replace my doors.

Extremely pleased with OWT Extremely pleased with OWT. Excellent showroom, great products and superb fitting service. Highly recommended.

Looking for a super wood floor I would like to thank OWT for the super service recently. They supplied and fitted a beautiful new wood floor just before Christmas and it looks stunning, completely changed the look of the house. Felt slightly daunted when entering the shop (didn't really know what I wanted). But Darren was so knowledgeable and was able to offer advice and support. The Fitting team lead by Peter were super and did a great job, they were polite, very highly skilled and obviously enjoyed what they did. A great service from start to finish and a must if you don't know where to begin with wooden flooring.

Ordered Parador laminate flooring… Ordered Parador laminate flooring on-line. Delivery arrived via Fed Ex, and the end packaging had come off, damaging the planks. I e-mailed immediately to inform them of the damage, and received another delivery, this time perfect. Would just have liked response by e-mail confirming complaint. Otherwise would have been 5 stars!
